Alana
Palomar of norman and Mike Cox of Bartlesville were married on july 14
at a 7 p.m. ceremony at McFarlin United Methodist Church.
Parents of
the pride are Joyce Tempelmeyer Palomar and Al Palomar, both of Norman.
The
bridegroom is the son of Dianne Cox and Eugene Cox, both of
Bartlesville.
The Rev. Jim
Mustain of New Life Bible Church officiated.
The bride
wore a strapless A-line gown of candlelight Italian silk satin that
featured a cathedral train. The top of the gown was accented with
pearls, crystals and rhinestones. The floor-length cascading veil was
trimmed in candlelight satin and extended beyond the train.
The bride
carried a bouquet of red and black magic roses that were surrounded by
greenery and hand-tied with candlelight satin.
Special
music was provided by organist Samuel Porter.
The bride's
sister, Lisanne Palomar of Norman, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids
were the groom's sister, Cheryl Redfearn of Euless, texas, Jennifer
Scott and Heather Kasulis, both of Norman and the bride's cousin, Amy
Weible Nitta, of Westminster, Colo.
The groom's
brothers, Dr. Darrin Cox of Baltimore Md., and David Cox, of San
Francisco were the best men.
Groomsmen
were the groom's brother-in-law, Kyle Redfearn of Euless, Texas, and
Scott Kasulis and Jake Heister, both of Norman.
Ushers were
Joe McEndree, Dustin Baylor and Eric Johnston, all of Norman.
Julienne
Fresnedi, daughter of Jojo and Rhodora Fresnedi of London, England, and
Shiloh Bradley, daughter of Mitch and Orphelia Bradley of San Francisco,
were the flower girls.
Mitchell
Redfearn,son of Kyle and Cheryl Redfearn of Euless, Texas, was the ring
bearer.
Guest book
attendants were Madelin Altom and Marie Johnston, both of Norman.
The bride is
a 1996 graduate of Norman High School and a 2000 graduate of the
University of Oklahoma. She is a student at Jefferson Medical College.
The groom is
a 1996 graduate of Bartlesville High School and a 2001 graduate of OU.
He is a student at Jefferson Medical College.
After a
wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple are at home in Philadelphia,
Pa.
