Toronto QNHS Alumni Sets “It’s Latin” Dance Fundraiser

Gentle
sport, they call it. It’s fun to watch. It is earthy. Latino dance has
spread its popularity in different Filipino parties.
Toronto-based alumni of Quezon National High School in Lucena City will
feature Latin Dances in its next fund-raising event scheduled at Garnet
Williams at Clarke Street, Vaughan near Steeles and Bathurst on July 16th,.
Ballroom enthusiasts who like to cha cha, samba, paso doble, tango and rumba
may find this fund raiser appealing. No more achy-brachy hearts in between.
If you find Macarena old hat, this dinner-dance is for you.
Proceeds of the dinner-dance will help finance some Learning Center projects
of the school in Iyam Lucena City. QNHS, former Tayabas High/Quezon
Provincial is one of the three oldest high schools in the Philippines over
100 years old and is beset with swelling number of students unimaginable
currently numbering more than 10,000.
To date, the QNHS Alumni Association of Toronto, Inc. has helped financed
desks, library shelves, chairs and basic school needs such as computers,
softwares and books.
But more help is needed.
Be prepared to take on your steps with the beat as your knee tightens on the
half beats in between. That’s Latin. REMMV, Toronto-based DJ is currently
researching on the most popular Latin tunes and dances Filipino-Canadians
love and enjoy dancing.
Prizes for best dance couples are ready for you from the latest video clip
