If you fell like getting jiggy and looking for a hotsy-totsy place to ballroom and disco, this one's for you.
Yes, there is KEEP ON DANCIN' for Quezon High at Malvern CC, Toronto Saturday, August 20, 2011.
The fundraiser dinner dance will financially help out some of the QNHS projects benefiting the students directly, our 7th annual in the last ten years. If you are a newbie in dancing, just chill and dig it or join our SIMPLE feature dance number. This year, class 67 Rollie Vallena will choreograph a line dance for all QNHS grads and friends to participate. The dance, don't you move a muscle: THIS TIME FOR AFRICA - Waka Waka by Shakira which was premiered at 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Voila.
So all you bodacious people and supporters, yuppies, preppies, peeps, homeys, workaholics, young and old, single and married, significant others and all the whatchamacallits, lets spend some minutes of your precious time, smell the flowers, get down and boogie THIS TIME FOR QUEZON HIGH.
GMA PINOY TV offered to roll their video cameras during the event for a clip feed in their newsmagazine. Be ready to polyester and smile (ngeeek, yanu ay hiya ko) as the TV giant will also donate raffle prizes for the big draw that evening. Lassonde Beverages of Canada will donate a van load of beverages for all courtesy of Class 75's Belinda Borja- White. When the dance floor sizzles after you swing and swivel to Janet Jackson's TOGETHER AGAIN, everyone needs a cold fruit punch to pound more energy for a buck. Evelyn Lao, who fundraised for an IN Focus Projector for Quezon High in 2007 will choreograph a special swing number- Boogie Woogie 'Til You Just Can't Boogie No More!.. Another group of supporters, LAS AMIGAS will dance a portion from 'Burlesque.'
