CLASS 68's 40th reunion
By Nilds Villenas

As I write this, I'm still savoring the joy and lightheartedness of class 68's 40th reunion May 17-18. This is vastly different from the previous reunions we've had.

You can say that each one of us has come to terms with who we are, what we have become, and where we hope to be. Gone was the giddy youth and in its place are matured adults who have gone through a lot- marriage, disease, even death- and have come out of the whole caboodle of experience scarred but unbowed.

As we reveled in and swayed to the music of the Beatles, the BeeGees, the Dave Clark Five amidst stories, wine and good food, it was as if the years did not pile up- we were the same 16-year olds back in high school, albeit a little heavier and graying but nevertheless sparkling with the same wit and feeling young all over again.
